Acceptance & Patience

There, there, calm, patience.
There is still time, no worries.
No need to hurry.

Soon, soon, wait some more.
The door will open in time.
Our turn is coming.

…

They wait patiently
until the kettle whistles.
Then drink hot green tea.

It is interim,
the present moment, as is.
And the next ones too.

…

What will be, will be.
What is, is just as it is.
And it will change too.

Seasons come and go.
It is what it is, for now.
Tough thought, though, at times.

Nature, order, trust,
to accept, to come to terms,
a lesson to learn.

To release, let go.
To trust, while allowing doubts.
What is, as it is.

Trusting, allowing.
Accepting what is as is.
Like flowers open.

This whole while, now, here.
Everything is as it is.
Not perfect, but true.

…

What is imperfect,
may be beautiful and good.
As we humans are.

What is incomplete,
may be worthy, may still count.
As we humans do.

…

We can comprehend,
cultivate, also create.
With an open mind.

We can fully feel
our and others’ joys and hurts.
With an open heart.

We can work and play,
give and receive goods and grace.
With an open hand.

Without exceptions.
Not excluding anyone.
Accept, include, love.

…

Receive and respond.
And acceptance and action.
Water sits and flows.

…

To accept, to act.
According to conditions.
It’s useful and wise.

To accept, to act.
When facing adversity,
applicable, both.
