Serenity & Peace

With serenity.
With compassion and mercy.
Equanimity.

Equanimity
does not mean indifference.
Means to sigh with faith.

Faith leading to hope,
kind and generous action.
Equanimity.

…

Stillness and quiet.
The waters become calm, clear.
Sitting in silence.

Often in silence,
we find what we’re looking for,
and what is needed.

…

Silence, solitude,
space and time for deep breathing.
Luxury it’s not.

...

May peace be with you.
May peace be with all of us.
May peace prevail, rule.

…

Please, please, please, now peace!
In every society,
for humanity.

Is yelling needed?
Peace is musical, and loud?
Screaming may be ignored.

To cede, grant, give in.
Humility, gentleness.
One way towards peace?

To rise, face-off, speak.
Push, pull, dialogue, debate.
Peace, eventually.

What’s the price of peace?
It’s not free, but sets us free,
when there is justice.

Gentle winds blowing.
Benign breezes caressing.
Ease as way to peace.

Right effort makes peace.
Right thought, right speech set us free.
Regular practice.

Peace revolution.
Non-violent uprising.
Our evolution.
