Parables?

We call parables what is offered as follows because they are stories that hold messages in the manner of allegory. Although altered and embellished to protect the anonymity of those involved, many of these stories are based on true incidents which we experienced, witnessed, or heard about. Others correspond to the realm of the invented or imagined, which does not necessarily make them any less true.

Originally formulated as fables dedicated to children and youth, may these parables serve adults as well.
