Morning Routine

Three cups of tea every early morning.

The first one, communing with the soul and spirits, sitting by the altar set-up in a corner of the sitting room.

The second one, speaking with the shining starry sky, standing up, looking up.

The third one, engaged in duels with syntax, strophes and stanzas, feeling, pondering, adding, subtracting.

Only afterwards are they ready to meet the world and its worldly work, wonders, and woes.
