Love & Kindness

To be kind, loving,
to remain open hearted.
Without exclusions.

Without conditions.
No ifs, ands, buts or clauses.
To do Good, to love.

Without exceptions.
Not excluding anyone.
Accept, include, love.

Unconditional.
Compassion for everyone.
Yes, everyone.

…

For our tomorrows,
we forgive and we move on.
What happened, happened.

Loving amnesty.
Today we begin again.
Good gods understand.

‘God is love’, they say.
Love calls us to sweat for Good.
God is labor, too.

Life, light, love, labor.
They fit, go well together.
Enduring fashion.

Because love moves us,
we rise up, show up, speak up,
reach up, and lift up.

To cultivate trust,
to labor and live with love.
A sweet surrender.

To offer ourselves,
to share what we have and learn.
Give ourselves away.

To the grieving ones,
bring listening to their door.
Kindness soothes pain.

And-both empathy.
Feel our brothers’, sisters’ grief.
And also, their joys.

How to be of help?
Look, listen, get close, respond.
With kindness and care.

We promise to love.
Life and time will test our vows.
We can vow again.

Love makes the heart hurt,
opens it so that can break.
Love helps the heart heal.

Patting and petting,
alleviate suffering,
soothe the skin and soul.

Pain hinders, hampers.
Fear hoards, monopolizes.
Love mends, restores, frees.

When darkness blinds us,
when our eyes can’t find the path,
love’s light can lead us.

We emit our light,
send and spread kindness to all.
Love rules in the end.

Love is meant to win.
Kindness prevails at the end.
Oh, may it be so!
