Trust
· To trust may mean to believe that the sea is calm deep down, and that eventually the surface will calm down.
· To trust may mean to let go, let ourselves be carried, let ourselves be led.
· It is difficult to trust, to let go of the reins, to let go of possessions, to let go.
· To trust may mean to be willing to erect, to extend, and to cross bridges.
· We can choose to trust that, in some way, everything counts, teaches, serves.
· We can trust order, and also celebrate chaos.
· Trust may bring tranquility.
· Trust may endow hope.
· Perhaps trust and curiosity can triumph over fear and territoriality.
· Trust in beyond-human love and guidance may be as true and powerful as it may be relaxing and comforting.
· We can trust the blank white page, and distrust puritans dressed in white.
