Silence
Silence allows ceding the word to grace, to goodness, to God.
Silence yields the floor to truth… sometimes.
In silence we may find that which we seek, and that which we need.
Searched, silence and space may reveal treasures, once clutter and chatter are sorted and weeded out.
We listen better when we shut down machines, media, mouths, and minds. Even music, sometimes.
In meditation, the soft sound of the bell slips into the sighing silence of simply sitting.
We can say ‘yes’ to silence, and ‘yes’ to symphonies.
