Portraits?

The following writings are simple sketches of portraits painted with words. Some were composed with children in mind. While a few of these characters we know well and others we barely met, they all earned, one way or another, our appreciation, admiration, and affection. Here we introduce them to readers, themselves unique characters we may know well or may meet some day. Perhaps readers may recognize in these sketches characters from the stories and plays in which they a part have played.
