Pleadings
May we feel glad,
to be healthy, healing, healed.
May we know ourselves to be
lucky, lovable, loved.
May we realize, remember
that we are wiser and wider
than we think we are.
May we feel, may we know,
that we are in Good’s company.
From the great luck, fortune, blessing, and grace
of this here and now,
may it be so
in each and in every there and then.
May we listen
until understanding.
May we seek and search
until finding.
May we see and hear.
May we think and feel.
May we love and learn.
May we pause, may we ponder.
May we sense, may we serve.
May we experience,
express,
exude Goodness.
May we give and take.
May we be receptive and expressive
of what is truly Good.
May we be
fair
and even handed,
wise
and clear minded,
kind
and warm hearted.
May we start
each deed and feat
surrendering to serving
and to savoring.
May we end
each deed and feat
feeling satisfaction
and experiencing serenity.
May we live aware, awake,
receptive, responsive,
allowing, accepting,
and acting.
May we all
live in grace,
die in peace,
rest in glory.
