Perfection
· Perfection is an illusory ideal that pressures, tyrannizes, fails us.
· Perfection is not real, or necessary if it exists.
· The search for perfection is fruitless and endless.
· Even being imperfect, we can still be whole.
· Imperfections, ever-present, do not ask for permission or forgiveness. They show themselves, humble and dignified, inviting imitation.
· Stains can be unwanted marring marks; they can also serve as adorning additions.
· Wabi-sabi truth: The imperfect, the incomplete, the impermanent have merit.
