Matters

A matter that matters,

that seems of importance,

is to see, use, appreciate

what is present in the present,

to apply what is profitable,

without wasting what is valuable,

nor disposing of what is usable.

If to close or distant souls

the matter is to serve,

be those present at this present

or whomever future tells,

may we learn how to discern

with whom, where, when, and how

is the matter to be shared.
