Housekeeping

Just as we examine and then empty

drawers and cabinets.

As we clear and dust

tabletops and bookshelves.

In a similar way as to how we sort, keep or release

what we find here and there.

Like how we open doors and windows

to let in light and pure air,

and then we close them,

to keep out pests and intruder.

Could it be so in our inner

essential and transcendental homes

as in our exterior material homes?
