Corporeal

May we inhabit our body intentionally.

It is our fundamental home, place, space.

Tuned to wise rhythms

through millennial ebbs and flows,

our body teaches, shows and tells us

that everything has its due date.

Mobile, our body transports us

to and through interior and exterior spaces,

commonplace and extraordinary places.

May we pay attention

to the space we occupy

in our body.

May we listen

to what each muscle, organ, cell has to say.

May we care

for every hair, every square inch

of this marvelous, generous home and vehicle.

May we serve as reinforcement

to its formidable healing forces.

May we remember with reverence

that essence manifests itself

incarnated, embedded, embodied

in mineral, flora, fauna,

including our human bodies.
