We ask, now and for all times,
for discernment, energy, guidance,
light, understanding, justice, calm, courage,
for help when facing suffering.

May we honor
the grace of living,
of having what we have,
of knowing what we know,
of doing what we can.

May we serve
as relief, as incentive, as encouragement.

May we live
with awareness
of the miracle, of the mystery, of the ministry.
